When I look at a private company to invest in or I am being solicited to invest in one I generally will ask at least the following questions. Now when I think of being solicited to invest in a private company I am assuming that this is a start up company or a company that is trying to expand in a new direction.

Question 1 When will you start generating revenue? Are you more wrapped up in creating infrastructure and soliciting cash than in generating revenue from actual sales?

Question 2 Can I please see your cash flow projections including profit margins?

Question 3 How will you reach the market that you are trying to reach, and how will you adjust to your end consumers reaction?
