Before I go into some of the more popular Q&A's for the week, I wanted to say 2 things:

1.    THANK YOU to all the TickerHound members who sent in feedback on the new design, we really appreciate it! And please, keep the feedback coming... the more you send, the better the site will get. As always, feedback can be sent to: feedback@tickerhound.com

2.    To make it easier on you to submit feedback on the new design, we put together a little survey that we hope you'll answer.

In fact, for everyone who completes the ENTIRE survey, we'll give away 100 BONUS POINTS.

So click here to take the survey - it shouldn't take more than 60 seconds.

Make sure you leave your email address in the last section if you want your 100 bonus points... and remember, every little bit helps so even if you don't fill out the entire thing, at least do something.

The more feedback we get, the better we can make the site for you!

Most Popular Q&A's

Here are some of this week's most popular Questions and Answers!

A new TickerHound member, erwaller asked: "Was this a sensible (paper) trade? or just luck?" - click here to read the answer now.

I thought this was a GREAT question from TeachMeMore, "What are some good sectors to invest in during an economic downturn?" - click here to check out the answers.

I also felt this was a great question and extremely timely given this week's events. anetsite asked, "What is going to happen to the price of MasterCard now that Visa has went public?" - click here to see what other TickerHound's had to say!

TeachMeMore is knockin' them dead this week - this member asked another very popular question, "Who thinks there was some insider trading in Bear Sterns?" - click here to check out the latest answer to this question.

Another new member, klb asked, "Outlook for gold/silver?" - click here to see what's going on in the metals markets.

TickerHound member, mario, asked a great question about the recent situation with interest rates and the Fed. Click here to read the answers.

And as a side note, just because the market is a bit volatile right now doesn't mean you should stop paying attention to it. Now is the time when you should use TickerHound to its full capacity.

Think about it this way...

If you're in war, you can't sharpen your battle plan while you're out on the battle field. You have to equip yourself with the right weapons, strategy and knowledge when you're back at your "home base". When the market is crazy, like it is now, that's the equivalent of you being back at your "home base."

You can take a breather, stay away from the crazy trades and equip yourself with the right mental weapons and knowledge in order to make a KILLING when the market rebounds.

Don't forget, this is a FREE tool for you to benefit from.

I hope you take full advantage of it!

Top TickerHounds

I wanted to take a minute to also acknowledge some of the top answerers this week.

First, we have an old favorite who really stepped up his game this week. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality, depth and clarity of many of this man's answers.

So congratulations to ChaosNantuko for taking the top spot this week!

Next we have dustbusterz who has been doing an exceptionally amazing job this week.

And finally we have rvilmur, and if memory serves, this is his first time on the Top TickerHounds list... congrats!

Keep the amazing answers coming guys... we'll be awarding prizes to our Top TickerHounds in the coming months and you won't want to miss out on this!

This Week's TickerHound Challenge

For this week's challenge, I decided to get two of our questions from another AMAZING Investor Education site - investopedia.com. They also encourage their members to send in questions, but they have people on staff who answer a VERY SMALL fraction of them.

And that's the main reason why we created TickerHound - so we could provide an infinite amount of answers for an infinite amount of questions!

And I'd even be willing to bet that OUR community can answer these questions just as well, IF NOT BETTER THAN, the "experts" over at Investopedia.com. So give it your best shot - you're competing against the "pro's" here!
There they are... good luck, and let's show these so-called "experts" who the real experts are!
