Help each other benefit from the bailout. Seriously.
Monday, February 16, 2009 | Dan Is this Spam?I hate to admit it, but I've been having the same day-dream lately as Dylan. See his 16-Feb article for reference.
So, I thought a good topic for an article is how responsible people, who didn't get over their heads in debt, didn't take huge risky bets & lost, didn't bankrupt themselves or anyone else and by that criteria, seem to not be eligible for any bailout benefit (except to pay for it!!!) can benefit from this.
Seriously.
What can we all share on this to benefit from the big spend and maybe in the process benefit others. Here are some things I could see would be a win-win, but not sure if anything like this is in the bailout. I’m hoping we can all share ethical & legal ideas on how we can benefit from the bailout and in this, how we may help others.
I have >800 credit score. I have never invested in real estate, but can the government help me stop the real estate slide by buying up some property?
My wife runs a business with no employees. If she were to hire someone and take them off unemployment which would otherwise would not be profitable right now due to the downturn, can the government help us make that profitable by subsidizing this somehow?
Should I buy CAT? OK, that one only helps me if the stock goes up, but seems like a decent play if we’re going to build all these roads.
Who has a great way that they will benefit from the new bailout bill that will be signed tomorrow?
