Banks will lead rally when bull market returns!
Sunday, September 7, 2008 | cpr48 (cpr48) Is this Spam? Most people seem to think that the stock market has hit bottom or is close to bottom. Who will lead the bull market return. Many stocks are at or near their 52 week lows including the big banks. Risky, maybe? But financials will have to finance Big Companies and Little Companies to grow and expand. They have big fears of loaning money to risky investments right now but they will loan money on safe bets that have a good credit risk. In doing so their stocks will lead the bull market return whenever it does happen! Many banks are risky and some have even gone under but the big ones are a safer bet. I think that Big Banks like WM, JPM, and BA will lead the bull market return. Their stock price is undervalued and now seems the time to buy before the bull market returns. Their stocks may never reach their 52 week highs in the short term but they will probably double in price within a year or two. A 100% return on investment is better than no return at all unless you have a crystal ball that tells you which stocks will sore in price!!! My bets are on the big banks, how about you....
