3 Questions To Ask When Looking To Invest Privately

Initially, here are the first 3 questions that I would ask any that approached me to invest in their new idea.

1. How much money are they looking for. Is is a lot of money or a little money (which is relative to your own financial circumstances). The more money requested, the more analysis and thought process is required because of the risk profile.

2. Do they have a business plan. They aren't going to be any money without a business plan. If they don't have a business plan, they haven't fully thought through their idea.

3. What are the expected returns and in what time frame.
