What are the first 3 questions you should ask before investing into a private company?

I am not sure actually. When I saw the title of the article it was very intriguing. I have thought of investing in private companies but have not done so as yet. There seems to be so much to look for and because I am new into this arena, I am not sure where to begin. I have been reading books by Buffett, Lynch, Graham, and Kiyosaki. They offer great advice and I am looking forward to the day that I actually "begin". The "hard" part for me again, is actually where to begin. To be honest it almost seems overwhelming but yet at the same time very exciting. I look forward to reading your advice.

Investing in a private company is not a game for amateurs. It is high risk investing even for the professionals.
